Abstract
Micro-aeration catalyzed iron internal electrolysis (CIIE) process was used for pretreatment of mixed chemical wastewater in Taopu industrial area. The pilot-scale test result shows that the pretreatment process has significant effect on decolorization with average removal rate of 43%, and the average removal rate of COD, PO 3-_4 -P and TP comes up to 54.5%, 87.5% and 79.4% respectively. The CIIE process can serve to adjust the influent quality and alleviate shock loading, so as to improve the shock resistance capacity and stability of operation in the whole system.
