Abstract

Frontier fortress poems reflected Tang Dynasty' prosperity and decline clearly and described the people's mental attitude vividly .It was obvious that the scholars showed the feeling towards the war from yearning and praising at first to abhorring and detesting at last. The historic traces of ups and downs were unfold before our eyes by Yang Jiong 's Joining the army andante , Li Yi's Climbing receiving surrender wall and hearing the flute and Cao Song's Eight hundred Seventy nine AD .
