Abstract
The Cu content of 2242 soil top layer samples collected from the different types cultivated land in Guangxi were analyzed. The results showed that the soil Cu content in Guangxi was in a relatively high status, the total Cu content was 1.03-101.18mg/kg,and the average was 27.41mg/kg which is higher than that of soils in China and the world. The available Cu content and its average were 0.01-19.19mg/kg and 2.48mg/kg,respectively,and the number of the samples which available Cu content was lower than the Cu deficiency critical value(0.2)mg/kg accounted for 0.49% of the total. Moreover, soil parent material, soil organic matter, soil pH and agricultural utilization methods of soil were the main factors to affect the content of available Cu in soil.
