College sports education is in the middle of the lifelong sports link,has contributed to the important role of this period,the physical education is normal by the,the dense,system and comprehensive.So this period for student sports consciousness,skills and habits of training is very important,and to finish the historical mission of school physical education teaching only rely on is not enough,and should by extracurricular sports together to finish high school sports education task.Through to the nanjing xianlin university town four university college students to participate in extracurricular sports activities present situation investigation and analysis,find out extracurricular sports activities in the organization form,content,function and guiding ideology on the dissimilation of the existence,and analyzed,and puts forward some countermeasures for college students took an active part in extracurricular sports activities help,also for college physical education reform to provide the reference.
