Abstract

This paper discussed the measurement of income inequality-Lorenz Curve and Gini Coefficient and analysed the changes in the distribution of farmer's per capita net revenue since reform and opening up in China. We found that income inequality in rural area has widened during last 20 years but the income distribution was almost equity and Gini Coefficient was less than 0.3 within last 20 years. The inequality in components of income is discussed finally.
