Study on efficacy of modified Huangqi Jianzhong decoction in treatment of chronic glomerulonephritis

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Huangqi Jianzhong decoction(Astragalus health decoction) in treatment of patients with chronic nephritis.Methods Forty two cases of chronic nephritis treated in this hospital during January 2010 to June 2011 were selected for this study.All 42 patients were given with Huangqi Jianzhong decoction for treatment,their efficacy of treatment with three courses was observed and analyzed.Results Among 42 cases of chronic nephritis,28 cases were cured,9 with marked effectiveness,1 case with effectiveness and 4 cases failed,and the total effective rate reached 90.5%.Conclusion The application of Huangqi Jianzhong decoction in treatment of patients with chronic nephritis is effective,and it is worthy to be further recommended for clinical application.
