Abstract
Objective To explore the indications of hemodialysis and hemoperfusion in poisioning children and relevant factors affecting prognosis. Methods Hemodialysis or hemoperfusion were used in 11 poisioning children (including 5 boys and 6 girls, aged from 30 months to 12 year). The relevant data on the time from poisioning to hemodialysis, the times of hemodialysis, the conditions of consiciousness and respiration were analyzed. Results The earlier the beginning-time of hemodialysis, the better the recovery from illness. Repeat hemodialysis or hemoperfusion needed if it was necessary,Coma is an important indication to hemodialysis,Depressant breath is not the contraindication to hemodialysis or hemoperfusion. Conclusion It is critical for improving survival rate of poisoning patients to properly choose hemodialysis and/or hemoperfusion.
