Abstract
Objective:To observe of plasma endothelin-1(ET-1),atrial natriuretic peptide(ANP) and calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP) levels in the patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease. Methods:Plasma ET-1,ANP and CGRP contents were measured by radioimmunoassay in the patients with acute attack and remission stages of acute pulmonary heart disease, and the synchronized arterial blood gas analysis was conducted, which was compared with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) group. Results:Plasma ET-1 and ANP contents in the patients with pulmonary heart disease were increased and CGRP was reduced, especially in its acute stage.Among them, the change of ET-1 and CGRP was uneasy to recover with remission of the disease condition. The ET-l change demonstrated significantly positive correlation with ANP(r=0.426,P0.05) and significantly negative correlation with PaO2 and CGRP(r=-0.563,-0.739,P0.01).Conclusion:The imbalance of blood ET-1 with ANP and CGRP levels in pulmonary heart disease exists for a long time, which may be an important humoral factor to exacerbate illness state.
