The Development of Yunnan's Foreign Trade and its Prospect

Owing to its special geographic location,Yunnan Province plays an essential role in the construction of the Sino-ASEAN Free Trade Zone.Geographically,Yunnan connects Southeast Asia and South Asia through which China can enter the world or vice versa.In terms of geographical economy and resources,Yunnan and ASEAN are supplementary and can form a regional economic group through alliance or cooperation.In the gradual development of regional economy,Yunnan Province is located at a better vantage point than the interior and coastal regions of China for a rational allocation of economic resources.
