Abstract

Mozi,Xunzi and Hanfeizi, as the representative works in the period of the Warring States, their quotations of and discussions on Book of Songs reflected the Non-Confucianists’ poetics and the reception of Book of Songs. They were primarily critical to Book of Songs and their criticism became more and more violent. This, on the other hand, explained the increasingly profound influence of the Book of Songs and reflected the gradual progress on the study of Confucian classics of Book of Songs
