Abstract

With the rapid development of Internet, the current IP protocol IPv4 has exposed its limitations increasingly. It's urgent to evolve into next-generation IP protocol IPv6. This paper addresses a method of designing and implementing a translation gateway based on NAT/PT,and discusses the networking applications of the translation gateway.
