Overseas Wildlife Tourism: A Literature Review

Abstract

Based on an extensive literature review of wildlife tourism research abroad,the author finds that academic studies of wildlife tourism abroad mainly focus on the following five aspects: tourism products and supplies,wildlife tourists,their impacts,stakeholders,and the protection of wildlife as well as their habitats.The study indicates that overseas studies form the research framework focused on tourism experience,ecological environment and destination development,and obviously present the characteristics of environment-oriented value and disciplinary participation.
