Abstract
With continuous improvement of sewage treating efficiency,sewage sludge disposal is becoming a complex environmental problem.Pyrolysis of sewage sludge is becoming a research focus for its advantages and maneuverability.Current status of sewage sludge pyrolysis equipment was introduced,several new methods for pyrolyzing sewage sludge by microwave radiation were described,and characteristics of solid,liquid,gas-phase products from pyrolysis under different conditions were reviewed.Further researches of pyrolysis for sewage sludge disposal were proposed as well.
