Research on College English Reading Teaching Method

Reading plays an important role in English teaching,meanwhile,reading is the most difficult one and the key point of English teaching.This pape presents the current problems of reading teaching.By analyzing the existing problems,this paper wants to find some effective ways of teaching reading,such as taking students as the core,combination intensive and extensive reading,emphasis on introducing background and relative knowledge,improve language basic knowledge and guide students correct reading.
