Abstract
This paper analyses the merits of MATLAB and VB. On the basis of the VB applications integrating with MATLAB, the technologies of combined ActiveX and DDE are discussed. The application of ActiveX integrating with DDE in Power System simulation is introduced through an example. The key technologies are described.
