Abstract

The developing process from normal to impaired function of glucose regulation means impaired glucose regulation( IGR), which refers to one's blood glucose level increases but is unable to satisfy the diagnostic criteria of diabetes. IGR includes impaired fasting glucose( IFG) and impaired glucose tolerance( IGT). Adjusting lifestyle plays an important role in preventing population with IGR from being patients with diabetes, such as adjusting the intake of food nutrition and controlling weight.
