Abstract

Butterfly community was investigated in 7 different habitats of Helan National Nature Reserve in Ningxia in 2007.There were 37 butterfly species belonging to 6 families and 28 genera,with Nymphalidae as the main family.In different habitats,the diversity of butterfly changed significantly.The diversity index,richness and evenness of butterfly community were the maximum in forest grassland,and those in alpine meadow were the minimum.
