Abstract
Based on the theory of deep ecology,the article analyzes the causes for ecological deterioration of Inner Mongolian grassland from the perspective of both system and culture,such as the nibbling of farming culture,the impact of industrialization and market economy,the inflexible grassland utilization system.In the meantime,it suggests the targeted ecological management of grassland: that is,rational return to grassland culture,exploration for modern nomadic style and strengthening of systems.
