Abstract

By analysis the machining process of crown gear, establish exact modle of crown gear coupling in ANSYS. Make some contact analysis of coupling’s gear mech complexion by surface— surface contact element and got the distribution property of contact stress on crown gear,checked its contact intensity is enough. And make the contrast with the traditional calculation formula result , revise the traditional calculation formula, enable it full foot request of engineering calculation.
