The article reviewed the experimental study of the flammable gas explosion and described the remarkable effect of the obstructions in the process of the flammable gas explosion. Meanwhile,the article discussed the application of present theory analysis and numerical simulation method and predicted the trend of the research on the flammable gas explosion.
