Abstract
Continuing revolution under the dictatorship of the proletariat theory was the result of the tortuous process of Marxism in China when China tried to explore the way to construct socialism. This erroneous theory was inconsistent with the basic tenets of Marxism and did not conform to the actual social conditions of China then. Therefore, it did not belong to the category of Marxism in China. This erroneous theory brought great loss to our country’s cause of socialist modernization construction. It would awaken us when we continue to push forward Marxism in China in the new period.
