Abstract
Colonoscopy was used to examine 70 children with hematochezia. The results showed that 63 (90%) cases had colopathy, among which 56 cases were colonic polypectomy. Colonic polypectomy was done by high-frequency electrocoagulation and the operation was successful. It is indicated that colonoscopy is an important diagnostic measure for hematochezia, and high-frequency electrocoagulation is a safe and reliable operation for colonic polypectomy.
