Abstract
In accordance with the prominent problems shown in the flood controls of the Yangtze River, this paper gives a novel proposition for it based on modern information network techniques to construct a digitalized Yangtze river flood control decision support system. The system is composed of three layers, namely the visualization geographic information platform, the comprehensive flood control and anti-disaster simulation system and the auxiliary decision command system. It addresses 8 main functions, characteristics of the system. In addition, the achievement presented in this paper is that the system established is of outstanding features with the mass, mutual, distributed, and real-time in flood control and anti-disaster decision. In order to promote the scientific decision level, it also emphasizes the digitalization and intelligence of the Yangtze River flood control. And finally it gives the prospects for the flood control decision support system.
