Abstract
[Objective]To observe the clinical effects of radiofrequency target thermocoagulation in treatment for lumbar disc herniation. [Methods]Totally 530 cases with lumbar disc herniation were treated with radiofrequency ablation, the effects were assessed with visual analoque scale(VAS)and MacNa. [Results]All cases were fellowed for 6 months, the comparision of the VAS scores before and after operation were significantly different(P0.05),no case showed complication of the nerve injury. [Conclusion]Radiofrequency target thermocoagulation is an effective,safe,mini-invasive for lumbar disc herniation. But it could not substitute opened lunbar discectomy and interuae fixation.
