Abstract

Objective:To study the role of carotid stenosis in acute ischemic stroke.Methods:CDFI was used to study the bilateral carotid arteries in 360 initial examined patients.The patients were divided into A (stenosis50%) and B(stenosis50% or occusion)groups.Results:The stroke incidence in the group B was38.2%,which was higher than that in group A(20.1%).Concluslon:The stroke occurrence is elevating higher along with the increment of carotid artery stenosis degree.
