The Strengthening of Huizhou Clan Government in Ming and Qing Dynasties Seen through the Dispute over Wang Clan's Ancestral Temple and Tomb

Abstract
The measures taken by the Wang Clan during the dispute of ancestral temple and tomb suggest that,in Ming and Qing dynasties when the Huizhou clan government organizations were weakened,they grasped the chance of disputing with other clans and made use of the clan's internal unity and association with authority to strengthen their own government.
