Comment on the Position of Poems of Wei and Jin in Assessment-System in Ts'ang-lang's Remarks on Poetry

Abstract
In Ts'ang-lang's Remarks on Poetry,Poems of High Tang was raised to be the highest principle of poetry;however,we cannot simply believe that the poems of the Wei and Jin were lower estimated by the author Yan Yu.He appreciated these poems highly,but also kept pursuing the final ideal of poetry.Ultimately,he found the ideal in poems of High Tang.In the process,Yan Yu compared poems of the Wei and Jin as a pure and lofty style with poems of High Tang,and verified the connotation and artifice of the latter approached the ideal more.
