Abstract
A fast charging principle is presented. In accordance to various problems that occur during the charging process of the lead-acid buttery, the fast pulse charging method of the graded fixed current is adopted. A design method that is implemented with hardware circuits and software controlling is proposed. This method is very efficient for the lead-acid battery. It can improve the charging speed and reduce the wastage of the lead-acid battery. Therefore it is very significant to the increment of the battery lifetime.
