Abstract

This paper analyzes the relationship between Tagore's inclination to religious mysticism and Indian Sufism.Through the comparison of how they understand god,feel god,show their respect to god,and of what goals they try to achieve,based on Tagore's poems and his relative statement,this paper holds that Tagore's inclination to religious mysticism was deeply influenced by Indian Islamic Sufism.
