A Study on the Ascocarps Morphology Diversity of Morchella from Northwest Yunnan Province

The ascocarps morphology including fresh weight, total length, stipe length, stipe diameter, pileus length, pileus diameter, ratio of stipe length to total length, ratio of pileus length to total length, ratio of pileus length to stipe length and color of 4 Morchella species, i.e. M. esculenta, M. conica, M. angusticeps and M. elata which collected from northwest Yunnan province has been measured and analyzed. The result demonstrates that each species has its own unique morphology, but some characters are in grades and strongly influenced by environments.
