"Visual Design" and "Information Design" in the Visual Communication Design

No matter from designing and scheming to visual expression of the information concept,or from choosing media to conveying information,visual communication design has been centered on the creative visual design for a long time.Nowadays,there exists a new design concept and method in visual communication design which is centered on vivid and effective information communication.Such information communication is based on the characteristics of information media,information framework,designing,scheming and visual expression to convey information.Faced with the new problems and concepts raised in the development of visual convey design,this thesis conducts some necessary discussion on and sorts out the theories about visual design and information design,meanwhile through the comparison in the aspects of information carrier,design rights,inspection standard,and professional skills,the thesis discussed the main difference between the two designs.
