Abstract
As a renewable bio-energy crop,sweet sorghum(Sorghum bicolor(L.) Meonch) has high yield,high content of sugar in juicy stalk,high inversion rate of alcohol and strong capacity in stress resistance.High content of sugar was one of the main characters.The progress made in research related brix in sweet sorghum stalks on genetic variation,heritability,genetic model,genetic correlation were summarized,and the view of stalk sugar content selection were analyzed.
