Abstract
Objective: To explore a new method in the repair of soft palate cleft. Methods: 25 patients with soft palate cleft were repaired with palatal push back flap, and followed up to evaluate velopharyngeal function. Results: Patients' palate wound healed well with minimal scarring and soft palate moved flexibly. Velopharyngeal closure function was good. Conclusion: This method is one of the ideal techniques to repair soft palate cleft and reconstruct the palatopharyngeal function.
