Abstract

The improved expansive soil with lime has higher application value in the construction of highway engineering subgrade. Based on the example of a highway subgrade engineering, the article introduces the advantages, principles and applications of expansive soil of lime, and also discusses and analysis the lime improved expansive soil in the project. The test results and engineering practice show that, lime improvement of expansive soil in expressway roadbed construction is economic and reliable and is worthy of reference.
