Abstract
Objective: To explore the diagnostic value of susceptibility weighted imaging(SWI) for cerebral vascular malformation. Methods: 50 patients with cerebral vascular malformation, confirmed through clinical or surgical pathology, were collected, and all of them underwent T1WI,T2WI,T2WIdark-fluid,T1WIfs MRA enhance scans. The imaging obtained with SWI cerebral vascular malformation and conventional MRI sequences were compared. Results: SWI showed the amounts of cerebral vascular malformation, the distributions and characteristics of lesions vascular were more clearly than conventional MRI sequences images.Especially for occult vascular malformations and tiny deformity capillary, the diagnosis sensitivity by SWI was 100%,diagnostic accuracy rate was 100%.Conclusion: SWI is valuable for the diagnosis of cerebral vascular malformations.
