Analysis of Chinese Railway’s Development Strategy

There lies a big gap between Chinese and developed countries railway in terms of density of railway network,speed of train,service quality,information,and inter-city and city rail transportation.Since the reform and opening up to the outside world,Chinese railway has developed rapidly and failed to perfectly meet the demands of national economy and social development,however.In order to realize the leapfrog development strategy ofChinese railway,we must set the goal of increasing the capacity of transportation,put an equal emphasis on both raising the speed of train and strengthening the safety,bring information and automation into full play,and construct a multi-level railway transportation system with Chinese characteristics.
