Abstract
The fluorescence characteristics of fluorescent whitening agent CBS-X in different medium and the sensitization mechanism of cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB) to CBS-X have been studied.A method on sensitization fluorescence determinations of the CBS-X was therefore developed. This method has the advantages of easy handle of the specimen, quickly test and low detection limit. The method has been used for the detection of synthetic detergent with satisfactory results. The linear regression equation is IF=1.31+ 2.85×109c(mol/L) with a correlation coefficient(R) of 0.9995 and the linear range from 0 to 1.73×10-7mol/L.The detection limit is 0.45 ng/mL.
