Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of two methods(swim-up and pure sperm gradient centrifugation)on sperm routine test,acrosome integrity and DNA fragmentation.Methods Semen sample of 90 patients were treated with swim-up and pure sperm gradient centrifugation,and then routine parameters,sperm acrosome integrity and sperm DNA fragment before and after treatment were analyzed.Results The sperm concentration decreased markedly after treated by the two methods and the survival rate and sperm mobility increased obviously(P0.01).The rate of normal sperm morphology and acrosome integrity increased significantly(P0.05).The index of sperm DNA fragment decreased markedly(P0.01).No difference in treatment were noticed between the two methods.Conclusions The acrosome integrity was increased,sperm DNA fragment decreased after treatment with the two methods.The sperm quality can be optimized by using the two methods.
