Clinical Observation on the Treatment of 88Erectile Dysfunction Patients with Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective:To evaluate the clinical effectiveness on the treatment of erectile dysfunction(ED) patients with acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:From January,2004to January,2009,176ED patients were selected and randomly divided into three groups,88patients in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine group(group A),44patients in traditional Chinese medicine group(group B) and 44patients in acupuncture group(group C).The angle values contrast before and after the treatment was used to evaluate the outcomes.Results:In the improvement of erectile angle values,Group A was obviously better than the other two groups(P0.05).The total effective rates of the three groups were 46.56%(group A),16.17%(group B) and 13.24%(C group) respectively.The total effective rate of Group A was significantly better than that of the other two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:The combination of traditional Chinese acupuncture and medicine has a better effect on the Treatment of ED patients.
