Abstract
By a combined use of thermogravimetric and infrared method the pulverized coal combustion characteristics of a representative rank of coal under atmospheric conditions were studied along with a description of TGA DSC FTIR coupled method for the research of pulverized coal combustion characteristics. An analysis was conducted of TGA FTIR spectrogram of pulverized coal combustion at a temperature rise rate of 15℃/min and under simulated atmospheric conditions. Thermogravimetric tests were carried out for the pulverized coal at different temperature rise conditions, thereby obtaining the characteristic curves featuring the relationship of pulverized coal activation energy and mass loss of coal. The significance of TGA DSC FTIR coupled analysis for the coal combustion process is also expounded.
