Abstract

Objective To observe the influence of thymosin alpha 1 combined with chemotherapy on cellular immune function in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. Methods 76 patients with non-small cell lung cancer were divided into two groups, the control group(n=38) was only treated with gemcitabine + cisplatin chemotherapy(GP regimen),and the observation group(n=38) was treated with thymosin alpha1 on the base of control group. The therapeutic effect and change of T lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood of two groups were observed. Results The total effective rate of observation group(52.6%) was significantly higher than that of control group(36.8%)(P0.05).The levels of CD+3,CD+4,CD+4/CD+8 in observation group after treatment were significantly higher than those of before treatment and control group after treatment(P0.05),but the levels of CD+8 after treatment were significantly lower(P0.05).Discussion The treatment of thymosin alpha 1 combined with chemotherapy for patients with non-small cell lung cancer could significantly enhance the body's immune function, and improve the clinical curative effect.
