Abstract
According to the characteristics of fluctuating wind, the fluctuating wind load was simulated, its validity was confirmed and samples of the fluctuating wind load were obtained.Established 3-D finite element model of the tower, and calculated the wind-induced vibration response of the tower by time-history analysis method. The results indicate that the wind-induced response is larger at the top of high-rise tower structure under the function of fluctuating wind load, and the effective method was suggested to control its wind-induced vibration response.
