On the Development of Tourist Inspiration Beltin the Megalopolis of the East(United States) andits Enlightenment

Abstract

The integrative development of Megalopolis in the East(United States) has promoted the constant congregation of tourist industry within these areas.Meanwhile,the large-scale congregation of tourist industry further brings about the rapid development of Megalopolis.In this paper,for the first time,the concept of tourist intensive belt(TIB) is raised.It makes a brief introduction about the basic situation and characteristics of the TIB in the East of the U.S. and initially discusses the cause of its formation and our enlightenment from it.In addition,suggestions and some thoughts are raised concerning the building of TIB in the process of urban planning in China's Yangtze River Delta areas.
