Abstract
The virtual prototype(VP) model of the hydraulic supports was built with Pro/E.The static mechanical analysis of the hydraulic cylinder was carried out with finite element method in ANSYS,the mechanical state,inherent frequency and liberation model of the hydraulic cylinder,the parameter of the stress,the strain,the displacement etc.were gained.The verification of its strength and stiffness was made.The influence of dynamic load on hydraulic cylinder was analyzed.The results show that the design method based on the virtual prototype technology can improve the design quality of the production and shorten design cycle.
