Study on the Change of Agricultural Product Price Effecting on CPI——Take Suzhou City as an Example

Agricultural products are usually sold directly to consumers,or after industrialized as a food processing raw materials to consumers. The change of their price maybe cause the changes and fluctuation of CPI. Because food accounts for a large proportion in CPI,they have a decisive impact on the rise and fall of CPI for the changes and fluctuation of price from food、edible oil、vegetables、meat and so on. This paper adopts the method of combining statistical analysis and mathematical statistics,analyzing the relationship between CPI and change in the price of agricultural products in recent years in Suzhou City,puts forward countermeasures and gives suggestions how to stabilize the prices of agricultural products and control CPI change.
