Abstract

Stress Ulcer(SU) is a kind of acute mucous erosion and ulcer of stomach,duodenum or esophago under kinds of stress state,which can result in alimentary tract hemorrhage,perforation and more aggravated condition.Prevention of SU is not negligible in saving patients with severe cases.This article reviews SU about its etiology,pathogenesis,monitoring index as well as relationship of stress ulcer with acid inhibitor,iatrogenic pneumonia,prevention of stress ulcer,gastroenteral nutrition.
