Abstract
Comprehensive and special experiments on IAPAR9, a Brizal upland rice variety, were carried out in hill region of Yangzhou during 1998~1999. The results showed that IAPAR9 had good adaptabilityandproductivity. It could be rainfed except irrigating necessarily at sowing, and yield 6 750~7 500 kg/hm 2 grain. The key practices for high yield under wheat rice system should be sowing timely, promoting large spanicle by thin seedling, controlling weeds and rice borers.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
