Abstract
Direct interaction exists between crankshaft and bearing in internal combustion engine.However,present lubrication analysis of crankshaft bearing is limited in tribology aspect and only takes into account of bearing itself.In this paper,crankshaft-bearing system is taken as the research object,and the lubrication performance of crankshaft bearing considering crankshaft deformation under the actual load is analyzed.The crankshaft deformation and bearing load are calculated by the whole crankshaft beam-element method.The deformation of bearing surface under film pressure is calculated by deformation matrix method.The axes orbit of bearing is calculated by kinetics method.The results show that when taking into account of crankshaft deformation,the local axes center orbit on the front and back of bearing varies remarkably.The maximum film pressure of bearing increases greatly and the minimum film thickness of bearing reduces,leading to the change in film pressure profile of bearing.
