Abstract
The mathematic models were established for the movement and evaporation of water droplet in high temperature gas flow,and its characteristics were analyzed.The results indicate that the movement of the droplet can be divided into the variable velocity process and constant velocity process,and that the terminal velocity of the droplet depends on the gas velocity.The smaller the droplet is,the more easily the droplet follows the gas flow.The diameter of the droplet decreases exponentially when the water droplet evaporates in the high temperature gas.
