Abstract
The Guanzhong region abounds with gifts by nature in historical humanistic tourist resources. Considering different positions and potentials of these tourist resources, a comprehensive exploitation of them is necessary to the tendency of development of tourist industry. Accordingly, three major humanistic tourist scenic regions will take shape, namely, the tourist region of architectural relics of the ancient capital centred by Xi'an, the tourist region of tombs of the ancient emperors and lords on the Loess Plateau on the Weihe River and the northern ranges and the tourist region of Buddhist architecture mainly on the northern slope of the Qinling Mountains.
